Mr M Talbot,
Covid-19 – A message from the Leadership Team: We are currently open until 3.15pm on Friday 20th March 2020.
We will be closed to MOST pupils from Monday 23rd March 2020. However, we will be open for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), pupils who have a social worker and pupils of keyworkers as defined by the Government on a list published on Thursday 19th March. We will be contacting parents in the near future to establish if they are in this category and if they will be taking up their school place.
As a reminder, we have changed the time of Breakfast Club – we are now opening the school gates at 8.20am rather than 8.00am to reduce large gatherings.
All visitors, including parents/carers are no longer permitted into the building unless it is an emergency.
We appreciate your continued support in this matter.
Normal welcome message below:
Welcome to the Greenleys Junior School website. At Greenleys Junior School we firmly believe in our mission statement: ‘Learning for Life‘ and our vision statement: ‘To inspire, create and achieve‘
Greenleys Junior School is part of the Greenleys Junior School and Langland Community School Federation established in January 2019. We are firm advocates of working in partnership with others and Greenleys Junior School engages proactively and closely with Langland Community School, Portfields Primary School, Cedars Primary School, Giles Brook Primary School, Spring Lane Primary School, Lumbertubs Primary School and Falconhurst Primary School via our Collabor8 School Partnership. Greenleys Junior School is also heavily engaged with setting up the newly established Milton Keynes Education Partnership (MKEP).
We know how important it is to choose the right school for your child and we hope the information in this website helps to give you a useful insight into our school and encourages you to take a closer look. We warmly welcome prospective parents and children to come and have a guided tour of the school where the team will answer any questions or queries you may have.
My role is split across two sites and focuses on delivering the strategic aims of each school. Greenleys Junior has a Head of School who is responsible for running the school. You can access Miss Thurstance’s welcome message by clicking the link below.
Many thanks for visiting.
